Calm over speed
We do not rush puppies through stages. Each puppy progresses at their own pace, with us watching and adjusting as needed.
Every IRMADU puppy follows a considered journey of care, socialisation and development. Scroll through each stage to see how a puppy is raised before joining your family.
A puppy's earliest weeks shape the dog they will become. We raise every litter with the same deliberate care — not to maximise numbers, but to give each puppy the calmest, most confident start possible.
We share this journey openly because we believe families deserve to understand how their puppy was raised. If you have questions about any stage, please ask us.

Every litter at IRMADU begins long before birth. We choose pairings with care — considering temperament, health and breed type — and prepare our dogs and our home for the journey ahead.

Puppies are whelped safely inside our home and monitored day and night in their first days. We are present for every birth, ready to support the dam and to step in if a puppy needs extra help.

In the earliest weeks, warmth, maternal care and gentle handling shape each puppy. We weigh and observe daily, and we introduce soft human touch so puppies learn from the start that people are safe.

As puppies grow, we introduce them to new textures, sounds, people and experiences in a structured, age-appropriate way. The goal is confident, adaptable puppies — not overwhelmed ones.

Through play, exploration and gentle guidance, puppies build confidence and curiosity. We begin to see their personalities emerge — the quiet observer, the bold explorer, the gentle soul.

Matching is the most important step in our journey. We take time to understand each family, and we recommend the puppy whose temperament we believe will thrive in your home — never first-come-first-served.

When a puppy is ready, we send them home prepared — health-checked, vaccinated to date, and supported by a record of their care. And we stay in touch, for the life of the dog.
A well-raised puppy is the result of many small, deliberate choices made over weeks of consistent care.
We do not rush puppies through stages. Each puppy progresses at their own pace, with us watching and adjusting as needed.
We share what we observe, not what we wish were true. If a puppy is shy, or a stage needs more time, we say so.
The right puppy for one family is not the right puppy for every family. Matching matters more than timing.
